Hiya everyone!

Well, I promised another update when I was feeling better, didn't I?

And I'm feeling much better than I was a few weeks ago. (Thank goodness!) I've been keeping myself very busy lately, so I'll make this as reader friendly as possible, and make this journal informative and to the point!

SOCIAL LIFE!
Is evolving around arts and crafts, mainly cosplay costume making! If you know me from the MCM Expo forums, Cosplay Island (just recently signed up there!) or Cosplay.com I'm going to try and update pictures as and when I am progressing with the costumes this time around so you can see everything in the making! (Hopefully!)
I usually go by my full name on forums now, so be on the lookout for me!

COSPLAY!
Cosplay costume making is slowly taking over my whole life!
I have materials and stuff ALL over the house!
I decided to take a time out from drawing for a while and concentrate on the new art form of cosplay costumes.
I've decided to try and take 2 on this time, being Princess Sally and Sudowoodo.
I've started early so I'll be in time for May Expo next year.

The Sudowoodo progress is pretty fast, and I'll try and update my webcam picture from time to time, so you can see how it's coming along.
The Princess Sally one I'm gathering materials for right now. I've done some sketches and ideas, and tried to start making a head, but it was all getting a bit too much for me, so I've put it to one side for the moment (not abandoning Sally for the world though! I'll make it even if I'm kicking and screaming along the way!!)

MUSIC!
Not really into much new stuff, I've sort of gone in a time warp and listening to things from the 80's again 0_o
Still into my video game and film music though as always!

GAMES!
Haven't really played many new games, I keep on playing classic Mega Drive on my M3 DS Simply, but I am getting into Professor Layton and Phoenix Wright, with a little Pokémon Link on the side! I did buy Mortal Kombat Deadly Alliance for my Wii, but it's been too cold up in my room to play it at the moment.
I am excited about Zelda II for Wii next year, that should be interesting.
And they're releasing a black Wii console! Dammit! It looks so sexy! Why didn't they release 2 colours when it first came out??

OTHER STUFF!
I'm off to see New Moon at the weekend and probably will work some more on my cosplay costume...probably Sudowoodo, as I have most if not all my materials for that.
Might make his FIMO eyes tomorrow!

I'm also beginning the Twilight saga book "Eclipse"...let's hope the pace picks up a bit NOW...though I very much doubt it. I've been highly disappointed with them so far.

Went to Travelling Man in Manchester today to a book signing for *Templesmith
Was amazing to watch him sketch so quickly, I should really look into his work more. It was ~nikulashi who introduced me to his work, and it's really growing on me!

Also went to China Town in Manchester and bought a crap load of snacks and biscuits. Well you just have to dontcha?

Found out today that I had my "Tea Time" Professor Layton fan art published in Issue 50 of the Official Nintendo Magazine, so that was a great start to my day!

Just a short entry for me, as I don't really want to dwell on what's happened this past week.

Well, at least the bad parts. It's the most horrible thing ever.

Been bed-bound for about 3 days, in crying pain and agony.

Thankfully, I think I'm over the worst of it. But I won't know that for sure yet.

October London Expo was pretty fun. Met up with some old friends and made some new ones too. I tried not to let me illness get in the way of having a good time. I was determined to. I'd gone through so much effort this time for Expo I wasn't letting pain get in my way.
And someone even managed to snap me on stage on the Sunday as I entered the Masquerade for the first time.

I'M NOT DEAD!

Just to clear that up. I've been non-existent here for about 2 months now, and I've built up a ridiculous amount of messages along the way. I'm trudging through them all, slowly.

My art has been scarce recently, as I'm working on my cosplay costume for London Expo.
If you don't know who I am going to be this year, I am Scorpion from the Mortal Kombat series
Well, the costume resembles the Shaolin Monks one, and the mask from MK vs DC.

AND IT'S DONE! Phew! I'm finally finished!

I hope you are all well.

Firstly, I'd like to thank you for all comments faves and watches as of late.
I should seriously get off my butt-lazy-ass and start to answer them all, but to be fair, right now I'm not on deviantART that much as I'm busy trying to sort out my life haha!

July and the beginning of August was fun, I had ~Kidura come and stay with me for a week which was wonderful! We went around Manchester, The Trafford Centre and also a trip to Blackpool which was great I think I wore her out though, poor thing!
I miss her a lot, as do others, and I know for sure and she misses people too.

I also attended the small cosplay convention at Trinity Church in Salford the other weekend which was really fun!
I met up with ~deppalike and ~Sephirayne and had a really great time.
I entered a little masquerade for the first time in my American McGee's Alice costume which was such a kick for me, as I'd never done it before.
I also bumped into someone who said they watched me on here, but I had no idea who it was! Please make yourself known so I can say "hi" to you!

At the end of August I'm travelling down to Essex to stay with my awesome friend ~Adder-Adz for the Bank Holiday weekend and travelling into London for a few days.
If any of you fancy meeting me to hang out in London whilst I'm there, please drop me a note and we can meet up!

September I'm off down to Norwich to see ~nikulashi for the weekend, which I'm really looking forward to. It's almost a month away though... Dammit, I can't bear the agonising wait! *sob, cry*

Then October is London Expo again, my doesn't time fly!
My outfit for this year will hopefully STILL be Scorpion from Kombat, although which version I've not decided on just yet.

Last weekend I got myself a new haircut! You can see in my new webcam pic of me in the purple dress. I've never had my hair that short before, but I felt strongly it should be one of the new changes in my life to make me feel better and positive about myself. So I went and did it ^^

Aaaaand, I've finally jumped on the Twilight bandwagon.
I was planning on seeing it at the cinema, but couldn't find anyone to go with, so grabbed it on DVD this weekend.
Oh my, I really liked it. And I think I'm turning into a Robert Pattinson/Edward Cullen screaming fangirl!
Well, not quite...

I shall leave you with a new phenomenon I just thought of the other day. Hopefully it will catch on as much as the Caramelldansen (well maybe not as much as that)

Wow, it's been a while since I've been around here. So much crap has been going on it's unbelievable.

Anyway, I'm not even going into that.
My Facebook and MySpace are permanently deleted, so you can't add me on there anymore.
I just got sick and tired of them, and never really found them at all useful anyway.

I have a few projects in mind, but when I get time to do them I'm not sure.

Sorry I haven't been around much. I've been a bit sick recently and not really feeling myself.
