Well, after lots of patience, blood, sweat and tears, here is the final composition of the 1st Generation Legendary bird Pokémon I have been creating for about what feels like a month on and off now.
I wish I could have done a bit more with the background to make it look more pleasing, but alas, my computer and Photoshop really slowed down a lot due to the huge size of the final piece. It took me about 10 minutes to save the final composition! (Which was over 240MB) The final JPEG for printing to poster size is nearly 8MB!
But Im pretty pleased with it overall, and this has been a great learning project for me. Thanks to all of you who have commented on my WIPs of the single birds and thanks for all your support too.
Hopefully, once I get my Print account up and running on deviantART, I will be selling this as a print. I am having it printed poster size for a friend and myself. I am excited to see how that one turns out!
Wonderful, well worth the wait! It's really nice to see unique pieces like this, and by the way.... the background looks perfect to me!

My my, you certainly outdone yourself. I can see the work you put into this brilliant piece.
I remember you saying that Articuno was modeled after a real-life Cardinal bird? Well, I'm not arguing, it does look like one! I'm just wondering if it's the same case with the other two Legendaries?

Project Comment is a project that features the generally obscured and underappreciated artists and their art in regular news articles. Our objective is to recognise deviants who deserve more recognition and to feature deviations with less than 10 original comments.
The 0-5 Comments Issues feature a deviant as well as 3 deviations with less than 5 original comments from a wide selection of art. Please give your time to this article and to write constructive comments so that you make a true difference to the artists featured here.
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
