This is Skylar the Arctic Kitsune, the second of my "fan characters" I created, that just popped into my head the other day.

I thought I'd better get some images down, as I'd forget her name and design.

I had a "triangular" theme going on with her "bindi", bangles and necklace and I like the fact that her hair looks like a Dairylea Triangle XD
Or a Quality Street Triangle.

I read about Kitsunes online and thought it would be a great animal for a spiritual/psychic/telepathic character.

I also read that kitsunes grow more tails the wiser they get. And when they reach nine tails, they turn gold, or white.

Skylar has 5 tails so far, but she's an artic fox, so naturally white anyway.

Will be working on a colour palette with ~Dext very soon!

Comments and suggestions for a colour scheme most welcome (really digging the character designing thing at the moment!)

She comes off as purple and white to me. Or a light blue. =D

Nice! The tails are wonderful. Bit of an 'I Dream of Jeannie' vibe going on with the outfit there (before your time!). Definitely would make a good pairing with Ebony.

Jeannie? That was a tv show right? About a woman genie? I remember it but very vaguely!

I think Ebony and Skylar would make the perfect team!

I Dream of Jeannie was a very long time ago, even for me! She had these great Arabian Nights trousers she wore. Probably most famous for starring Larry Hagman who went on to play JR in Dallas.

Ahh I see! I never knew that about Hagman. (Something my parents will though, no doubt!)
When I drew Skylar's clothes though, I thought "Hmm, this looks a little like Princess Jasmine's attire!" XD
