This is a Christmas drawing trade with my friend Sam aka *XxDrivingblindxX

I drew her portrait on my new Bristol Board 400 Vellum pad, quite a textured surface, which will take some getting used to.
Sam uses make up very uniquely, and I adore her changing look. Also, girls with glasses and black hair rock, not like I'm biased or anything

Prismacolors and watercolour wash on Strathmore Bristol Board 400 series Vellum surface, 9" x 12"
About 2 hours work here.

This is so amazing Donna!! I seriously cannot get over how beautiful you made me look!

The detailing in the hair is fantastic! I adore all of the colors in it! The glasses look just like they do in real life! I love how you did my makeup and skin tones! It is seriously like a mirror image of me!

The splatter background is very cool! How do you do that without it getting on the rest of the drawing?
I wish I had money to send you your chibi. Maybe whenever I have money we could mail our pieces to each other? I would love to receive this and give you yours!
