Something a bit different for you all :D
I'm currently trying out new styles and techniqes, but with limited software and a very old PC at the moment, I have to make to with what I've got for now.

Anyway, I had this idea on the bus a couple of weeks ago, so thought I would get it down on paper.
For a friends birthday present :)

I went for a "Pokémon Battle background" kind of look, as if she's just transformed and all that.

This is a very nice piece of work that certainly shows just how much you've grown with both your colouring and style since last time. You've presented an interesting take on the idea of Super Sonic and to see 'him' in a female human form is certainly something rarely seen, but also approached so well with such energy and charisma. The idea has worked well, more so with your take on female anatomy and presenting a 'action' based posture to show a sense of fury and control over such a power. You certainly have a take on creating vivid forms of body language and while it may be said it feels just a tad tight in some areas it does never the less present the energy that one would receive from this. You seem to also have found a unique take on creating your concepts this time around as well, finding your own style gradually and bringing out the time and practice you've applied to your work. It may have been nice to have presented her from a different angle or play more with the perspective, but what you've done is still a good impression of your potential growth.

Colouring also works well and the cell shading certainly fits snuggly into your style of design, not taking away from the body language or facial gesture, but amplifying it nicely. It has just enough flare to make it feel bold and engaging without going overboard through countless layers of details etc.

keep it up.
