Because I've been meaning to do this in forever.

About 7 years too late, but oh well XD

I always wondered what Emily would have looked like if she were alive.
I imagine she would have come from quite a wealthy family (satchel of gold, family jewels, the fact that she is a beauty known for miles around..) but I see her as the sort of lady who may have a sort of dark side to her (though I don't really know why) but still a little naive too.

I was meant to draw Emily's death a few years ago, but never really got around to doing it, so I hope this sketch makes up for it.

What are your views on Emily? So little is said about her in the film, but "Remains of the Day" does give us a few clues.

Oh this is so awesome! I have always imagined her as a blonde as well. I really like her expression and her hair. You did a great job on capturing her as a human.

Your thought of living Emily is amazing! I think you captured her personality very well here! I agree with you on the dark feel to her just by the timid yet sad expressions she gives off throughout the movie, and she is said to be rich so her outfit is fitting as well. Sweet and shy, feminine and timid with a yearning to live. I think you did an excellent job!
