-DEKU PRINCESS- by tavington -DEKU PRINCESS- by tavington
I decided to make another Deku Scrub after selling all my previous ones at Manchester Expo a few weeks ago, so I chose the Deku Princess from Majora's Mask

This one took me the longest, probably a total of about 6 hours.
The hair and head were the hardest, and also being able to get her to balance. I am pleased with the result though.

Sculpey III and FIMO Soft.

The Deku Princess also has glow in the dark eyes! :D

My other Zelda clays!

Thank you very much! Yeah she took a long time to make, with all the detail, but I was pleased with the outcome! I think making all those little leaves took the longest!

You have really outdone yourself here, the best artwork I have seen of her ever, bar none. Just the fact that you managed to sculpt her appropriately so that she stands is incredible in itself (she looks like a nightmare to try to balance into a sculpture). The actual painting and detailing is a completely different aspect you've nailed entirely. Everything is so gorgeous and spot-on it's quite astounding. Those are 6 well-spent hours my friend

Have you ever considered selling these? I'm sure Zelda-crazed fans would adore something like this in their already massive collections. :giggle:

Thank you very much! I'm truly honoured :)

I did actually sell all my previous sculptures at a convention a few weeks ago, so I made her to replace all the ones I don't have any more!
Actually the painting was pretty easy, it was just a little black and cream and some red for the cheeks, as the rest of it is coloured clay.

I will definitely be making more Zelda ones. I like doing the Majora's Mask characters as you don't really see many sculptures of them.

Thank you for commenting!
