Just trying out a small set of Manga Copic Ciao Markers I bought from London Expo the other weekend. I just have 5 colours to try. No blues in there though ^^ just green, pink and brown. I like them, they are a medium I need to get used to using properly and I look forward to creating new styles of work with them. Ink has never been a great medium for me because I thought I could never blend them, oh how I was wrong. (And my Letraset Marker Prizes from the Expo art contest just arrived this morning! Can't wait to use them!) I'd like some shading and layering advice please with the markers if you have experience. Comments
Try using them with watercolor pencils, if you are still having trouble adjusting, but besides the little bit of advice---I think it's AMAZING!
-- Shhh...My common sense is tingling... If you wanna laugh, go here---->[link] Beautiful, stunning what you can capture with what small choice of colors at your disposal. <33
-- Come enter my raffle by June 1st!!! Win art! --> [link] I have never used copic markers before, so I can't really make any suggestions, but this is stunning. I love to see artworks with limited colours that actually feel organic rather than stunted and flat. Stunning. :]
-- When it's not beautiful, it's grungy. When it's not realistic, it's stylised. When it's not uniform, it's surreal. When it's not large, it's minimalistic. When it's old, it's a masterpiece. So... when is it art? ~stockbyclabwag My Stock Account. |
